Join The Friends of Wollongong City Library for a literary lunch with Lauren Keegan!
We hope you can join us on Friday 7 August to welcome Lauren to the Function Room on Level 9 of the Wollongong City Council administration building.
Lauren is the author of All the Bees in the Hollows which was voted Best Debut Fiction at the 2025 Indie Book Awards. Her second novel, The Woman in the Seal Skin, is an atmospheric and compelling historical novel set in Scotland, 1695. Based on the selkie myths of the time, the novel tells the story of a young woman struggling with grief, oppression, and her own inherent wildness.
Books will be available for purchase at the event. If you would like to take part in the raffle, please bring along coins or notes.
Doors will open at 11.30am.
Tickets cost $35 for Friends of the Library members, or $40 for non-members. Not already a member? It's easy to join.
