Moorestown, NJ – Bethel AME Church invites the community to celebrate the holidays and the joy of the Christmas season at its annual Jazz Vespers service – “A Joyful Noise” on Saturday, December 6, 2025, at 4:00 p.m. The event will be held at the church, located at 512 N. Church Street in Moorestown.Jazz Vespers is a creative, spirit-filled worship experience held in the late afternoon and blends music, poetry, prayer, and reflection as a joyful way to usher in the Christmas holiday season. Now in its 13th year, Bethel’s Jazz Vespers continues to offer a fresh take on traditional vespers, combining faith and artistry to inspire hearts and lift spirits.
This year’s featured performers are the Abe Speller Trio, led by the dynamic drummer and bandleader Abe Speller, whose smooth, soulful approach to jazz has captivated audiences throughout the region. The Trio’s program will include a mix of jazz standards and holiday favorites, creating a warm, celebratory atmosphere for all who attend. A reception will follow in the Fellowship Hall.
A donation of $25 is requested, with all proceeds benefiting the 2026 Women’s Day Committee at Bethel AME Church. Tickets may be purchased at https://www.zeffy.com/en-US/ticketing/2025-jazz-vespers-at-bethel. They will also be available at the door on the day of the event.
