Coming home is more than walking out of Pr*son. It's finding your footing, rebuilding relationships, rediscovering yourself, and creating a life where you feel connected, supported, and free to thrive.
For the Returning Artists Guild (RAG), that journey is one we make together.
On Tuesday, December 1, we invite you to join us at Sunset Park in Columbus for A Journey Home, our first Giving Tuesday fundraiser. This evening brings together art, poetry, music, storytelling, and community to celebrate the creativity of people impacted by incarceration and raise funds to sustain the work we're building together.

Experience original poetry, music, and performances that explore the meaning of home, belonging, freedom, and the journeys that shape us.
Sell-A-Verse: Art Made Just for You
Ever wanted someone to write you a love poem? How about a personalized jingle or a few verses created just for you? Our talented poets, writers, and performers will be creating original works on demand in exchange for donations to RAG.
The Journey Home Signature Quilt
Leave your mark on a collective work of art! Guests can make a donation to sponsor a square in our signature quilt, commemorating the individuals and organizations who help sustain our Guild. Each square becomes part of something bigger—a lasting expression of community, connection, and collective support.
Conversation & Connection
Join Guild artists for a conversation about creativity, incarceration, reentry, and what it really means to come home. Hear directly from the people whose experiences and artistic practices shape our work.
Live Painting Raffle
Watch Guild artists bring original works to life throughout the evening, then enter for a chance to take one home! We'll raffle off the two original paintings created live during the event. Every raffle entry helps sustain RAG's work.
An afterparty will follow at a location to be announced.
Your Ticket Makes a Difference
RAG is a peer-led community founded by artists who met while incarcerated. Since 2019, we've been building a network of creative practice, mutual support, and collective care for artists inside and outside Pr*son walls.
Your support helps us provide art supplies, artist stipends, retreats, professional opportunities, and reentry assistance, while keeping these resources accessible to the artists we serve.
When you purchase a ticket, you're doing more than attending an event. You're investing in artists, strengthening community, and helping us build a future where people have the resources and relationships they need to create, heal, and thrive.
