Holiday Brass Concert

We invite you to join us in Columbus as we bring the popular IWBC holiday brass concert tradition to Ohio! These extremely popular concerts have been around since 1992 but never before seen in Ohio. The first holiday brass concerts were organized by Susan Slaughter, retired principal trumpet of the St. Louis Symphony. The concerts are held yearly throughout the country to raise money for scholarships, commissioning new music, providing prize money for competitions for musicians, and funding the International Women’s Brass Conferences.
Organized by Jessica Sneeringer, Samantha Smith and their team, this concert will feature musicians representing the Columbus Symphony, ProMusica Chamber Orchestra, Dayton Philharmonic Orchestra, Toledo Symphony, Ohio State University, Wright State University, University of Akron, Kent State University, Bellarmine University, and Bexley High School.
