A Family Filmmaking Adventure

Ever wanted to make a movie together as a family?

On March 8th, join Extreme Kids & Crew and Reel Works at the Brooklyn Children’s Museum for a hands-on stop-motion animation adventure where your ideas come to life — one frame at a time.

The program is ideal for kids 10-16 years old. The event centers neurodiverse families, but everyone is welcome.

☕️ We’ll be joined by our friends from Center for All Abilities, and their Blue Hat Café team. They’ll be offering delicious (and free) café drinks for caregivers and children, including lemonade and coffee.

• 4–5 PM, explore the museum together.
• 5–6 PM (after the museum closes), your family will create your very own short film in a relaxed, supportive workshop led by professional filmmakers.

Space is limited to keep the workshop small and supportive — reserve your spot today.

🎬 Domingo 8 de marzo:
4–5 PM: Exploren el museo juntos.
5–6 PM (después de que el museo cierre): su familia creará su propio cortometraje en un taller relajado y de apoyo dirigido por cineastas profesionales.
