Film & TV Networking Night "The Bean Bash"

Come and join us for a night of networking, new friends and new opportunities! A variety of food and beverages will be available throughout the event with DJ's playing music all night long. Professional photographers will be around with "The Bean Bash" backdrops and a red carpet at the primary entrance. Over forty short films will be screening back to back throughout the evening with many of the filmmakers in attendance. Spend time catching up with old friends and enjoy making new ones while trying some of our film and/or bean themed drinks. Limited edition mugs available, good for six drinks throughout the night.

At midnight, the baked bean wrestling begins. Inside a pit filled with beans, multiple contenders will attempt to take eachother down for the title of "Bean Master". Bean filled wading pools will be available for you to relax and unwind - or just take a quick photo.

Why beans? After attending a plethora of networking events, we decided that they needed to be more fun, more strange, and more memorable. Do you remember Clark, the actor that you met in 2018 in that beige room holding a flute of champagne? Maybe. How about Marsha, who cheered you on as you put your feet into a wade pool of baked beans inside of an industrial venue in Brooklyn? Probably. Also, beans are kind of funny. The musical fruit. Remember that joke?

Whether you're a seasoned director or an aspiring actor, we look forward to seeing you in Brooklyn on March 7th inside the 4,000 square foot venue! We hope that this event will be as memorable for us as it will be for all of you. See you soon.

Schedule:

7 PM -Doors open with food, drinks and music available.

7:30 PM - Films will begin screening in the secondary area.

12:00 PM - The afterparty. Baked Bean Wrestling will begin in the main area and the baked bean wading pools will be available.

While this event is geared towards film industry professionals like actors, writers, directors and crew, we welcome everyone (including people not working in film) to come and enjoy the fun.
