Join Community Support Services of Missouri for a special celebration of Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month (March) featuring magician and self-advocate Cody Clark. The event will be held on Friday, March 27, at 6:00 pm at the Joplin South Middle School Auditorium. In his theatrical, all-ages magic show, Cody combines magic, comedy, and storytelling to share his personal journey of living with autism. From his initial diagnosis to his college graduation, Cody places his magic routines inside common life experiences to show how his autism makes him different, yet similar to most people.
Following his show, Cody will host a Q&A for attendees.
By the end of the night, you’ll see that disabilities like autism are nothing to be scared of, but rather, a different way of thinking.
This event is open to the community and is perfect for all ages, families, students, and advocates.
Tickets: $5 per person. Children ages 5 and under are free.

This event is generously sponsored by Liberty.
