A Cowtown Comfort Cookout

For ages 18 & up

Join us for a casual evening filled with a selection of seasonal dishes presented by some of Fort Worth's favorite chefs. Quincy Wallace of Fred's Texas Cafe, Levi Gardner of JD's Hamburgers, and Michael Thomson of Michaels Cuisine will each show you how to make one of their iconic dishes included in Cowtown Comfort: Fort Worth Recipes, Places & Food Traditions by Celestina Block. As you sit back, relax, and sample each dish, you'll pick up tips on how to create a delicious menu for a summer cookout from these local experts and have the opportunity to partake in a little Cowtown culinary trivia.

For ages 18 & up. 21 or older? You'll enjoy a glass of wine that has been paired with your meal.

Cowtown Comfort: Fort Worth Recipes, Places, and Food Traditions by Celestina Block will be for sale. In her third book featuring Fort Worth, Celestina, a third generation native of Fort Worth, reveals home versions of some of the city's most beloved dishes ranging from biscuits and gravy to paella. Ms. Block will be a part of the fun during class and available to personalize books purchased at Central Market.

• At check-in, you will be asked to sign a waiver before entering the Cooking School.

• For that reason, we ask that all attendees arrive at least 5 minutes prior to the confirmed start time of the class.
