A City Dreaming Book Release Party

Cafe Creative presents an Interdependence Day Celebration. Please join us July 4th when we bring Maurice Broaddus' new book A City Dreaming to life.
This Literary Tableau includes an Afrofuturist fashion walk, dance performance, live music, an art installation, curated food and drinks, a "reading," and author signing by Maurice.
Copies of Astra Black series books will be available for purchase courtesy of Ujamaa Community Bookstore.
The event takes place at the Kheprw Institute's Alkemy-Community Wealth Building Center at 3802 N Illinois St.
Doors open at 2 pm. The program begins at 3 pm.
