Alvarado Park - Camp Alvarado Picnic Site (Follow the daisies)

When?
We'll "start" around 1pm, but will be there by 10 am to secure the site. We'll wrap up, when we wrap up. Your presence is welcome for as long or little as you would like.

Can I bring something?
Of course! Feel free to bring a dish to share. No judgement if it's fresh from the Safeway Deli or in that rogue bowl someone left at your house 10 years ago after a potluck.
Is it okay to come empty handed?
Of course! Just bring a full heart with a little bit of extra room.
What will be provided?
Burgers, hot dogs, varying beverages. We'll be bringing some lawn games, some shade and some chairs for those who don't love 2 hours at a picnic table.
Can I help?
Probably. Can we confirm at this second how and when? Debatable. We are grateful that many hands make light work, but may not know what the job is until it's suddenly apparent. If you know you are on the "Helper" list, please let Laurel or Romana know and we'll add you to the list! <3
If you run across any photos or have musical memories to share, please let us know. There is already a ridiculously long playlist, but we're sure we've missed songs and entire artists from the mix. We'd love your contributions!!
Parking: If you are "able bodied" (whatever that means to you!), please park in the parking lot. If you can't find close parking and are not sure about the walk to the gate, please text Laurel (510-932-6130). We can send someone to pick you up, or park your car.
Can I invite friends that aren't on Facebook?
