A Celebration of DC Culture, Fashion & Style (Volunteer Opportunities)

Join us on International Womens Day, for a special event celebrating the incredible women who contribute to the world of fashion and style in DC. We're honoring their talent, craftsmanship, and stories on Saturday, March 8th, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM in NE Washington, D.C.

To make this event a success, we're seeking enthusiastic and dedicated volunteers to fill a variety of roles. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a meaningful celebration, network with industry professionals, and gain valuable experience in event planning and execution.

Volunteer Roles:

• Registration/Check-in Staff & Guest Liaison: Assist guests with any questions or needs they may have, ensuring a positive experience. Greet guests, manage check-in, distribute event details. (2 volunteers needed)
• Event Setup/Decor: Assist with setting up the venue, arranging decorations, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. (2 volunteers needed)
• Stage Assistant & Catering Assistant: Support the emcee and speakers, manage props, and ensure smooth transitions during the program. Help with food and beverage service, ensuring guests are well taken care of. (2 volunteers needed)
• Social Media/Photography Assistant: Help capture photos and videos of the event, and assist with posting on social media. (2 volunteers needed)
• Backstage Support: Assist designers/seamstresses/artists with any needs they may have backstage. (2 volunteers needed)

Requirements:

• Enthusiasm, reliability, and a positive attitude.
