You all will be glad to know that The Jahangirnagar University Science Club (JUSC) proudly presents the “6th JUSC National Science Festival 2024” - a platform for students and professionals to showcase their scientific talents and compete on a national level with the motto “বিজ্ঞানে শিখি বুদ্ধির যুদ্ধ, বিজ্ঞান চর্চায় হবো সমৃদ্ধ”. This event is organized for school, college, and University students and Professionals.
As we know effective and good science communication is acknowledged as a crucial element that leads to a strong support on student's core competency for their scientific literacy. Going through the flow, 6th JUSC National Science Festival 2024 is a platform for those students and participants to prove themselves in a national competition. It also allows us to develope our interest and curiosity about new areas of scientific knowledge within a socially stimulating and enjoyable setting.

Event Details:
1. Science Quiz
50 MCQs have to be solved within 30 minutes.
There will be 3 categories for school, college and university.
Registration Fees- 100 BDT (102 BDT for Online)
Prizes- Champion and 1st runner-up will get Book, Crest, T-shirt, Certificate, and exciting gift hampers.
2. Four Minute Presentation (4MT Presentation)
The presentation must be completed within 4 minutes. The abstract submission deadline is 05.07.2024. The fifteen (15) selected presentations will be presented by the participant on program day.
6th Science Festival presentation (4MT)topics:-
1. Artificial Intelligence
2. Climate Change
3. Nanotechnology
4. Waste Management
5. Cybercrime
6. Antibiotic Resistance
7. Vector-borne disease
8. Gene Modification
*Registration Fees- Tk 650 (660 BDT for Online)
Prizes-
Champion: Prize Money of 4000 BDT
Runner-Up: Prize Money of 3000 BDT

3. Poster Presentation
Abstracts must be submitted by 05/07/2024 via the google form.The Twenty Five (25) selected presentations will be presented by the participant on program day.

-Regular - Tk 1000 for 1 or 2 person and Tk 1200 for 3 persons.

4. Project Showcasing
Abstracts must be submitted by 05/07/2024 via the google form. The Twenty Five (25) selected abstract will be presented by the participant on program day both School & College /University.

For School students—1000 for 1or 2 person and 1200 for maximum 3 person & Extra tk 400 for next per person. (Extra Charge for Online)
For college/university students—fees 1200 for 1or 2 person and 1400 for maximum 3 person & Extra tk 400 for next per person. (Extra Charge for Online)

5. Rubik's Cube Competition
Registration Fees- 100 BDT (102 BDT for Online)

6. Science Open Speech Competition
We will give the topic of science speeches immediately. In that case, after getting the topic, 2 minutes will be given to think about it before starting the speech.You will speech that topic within Four (4) minutes. The first 15 selected person will speech on program day.
Reg fees - 300 BDT (305 BDT for Online)
Prizes- Champion and 1st runner-up will get Book,Crest, T-shirt, Certificate, and exciting gift hampers
7.Line Follower Robot
Reg fees: 2000 Tk for 3 person and 2500 Tk for 4 person.
Prizes: 15k for winner and 10k for runner up.
Every participant will get book, crest, certificate, T-shirt and exciting gift hamper.
8.Robo Soccer
Reg fees: 2000 TK for 3 person and 2500 TK for 4 person.
Prizes: 15k BDT for winner and 10k BDT for runner up.
