Poetry is the spontaneous overflow of powerful feelings: it takes its origin from emotion recollected in tranquility." - William Wordsworth William Wordsworth suggests that poetry arises from the natural and uninhibited expression of strong emotions. However, rather than being created in the heat of the moment, poetry originates from the reflective contemplation of past emotions during moments of calmness and serenity. In essence, poetry is born from the fusion of intense feelings and peaceful reflection. In the hands of a skilled reciter, poetry becomes more than mere words on a page—it becomes a shared experience, a journey of the soul, and a celebration of the human spirit. Each recitation is a unique interpretation, offering fresh insights and evoking diverse emotions in those who listen. That’s why JCF is arranging a podium for those who are willing to express those feelings!
