6 Week Poetry Course - Making PIES

MAKING PIES - 6 workshops for the closet poet
The work is in part focused on techniques, from rhythm and rhyming, to alliteration and dissonance. At the same time, it is just as much about building confidence and the cohesion of the:

• Physical,
• Intellectual,
• Emotional, and
• Spiritual,
  ...hence the PIES.
  
  City of Poets promotes everyone as a poet, and considers poetry, like music, to be a unique individual expression, with healing power for individuals and beyond.
  Classes usually run for over an hour, but complete in under 90 minutes.
  The workshops begin on Sunday 10th November 2024 and runs weekly six times until 15th December 2024.
  Participants need only bring themselves, but if you have work, whether complete or in progress, please have it with you.
  What if it's fully booked?
  As much of the course is participant led, we are unable to work with more than 6 people at any time so if the workshops appear as fully booked, please reach out to [email protected] to join the waiting list.

This payment option covers you for all six sessions. You do not need to pay each week.
