DANS I JANUAR
LØRDAG d. 11. januar “Sweat your Prayers” i Dansekapellet - https://fb.me/e/2M17wfuEZ
“To sweat is to pray, to make an offering of your innermost self. Sweat is holy water, prayer beads, pearls of liquid that release your past. Sweat is an ancient and universal form of self healing, whether done in the gym, the sauna, or the sweat lodge. I do it on the dance floor. The more you dance, the more you sweat. The more you sweat, the more you pray. The more you pray, the closer you come to ecstasy.”
From Gabrielle Roth’s book; “Sweat Your Prayers” (på dansk: “Sjælens fem rytmer”)
SØNDAG d. 26. Jan forlænger vi vores dans med stemme/lyd i workshoppen; “Give Voice to your Movement & Movement to your Voice” - https://fb.me/e/52smJxTKl
ENGLISH VERSION
The start of a new year is often accompanied by wishes for change. The dances in January have all the intention of creating a space in between, in movement, before the year further unfolds. Before the “dance” turns into a dance with predictable patterns.
Maybe you already have an indication of whether your New Year's resolutions will stick 🙂
…….or whether adjustments are needed or perhaps even better to let go of them completely and surrender to your movement and the present moment.
