Welcome to the 5K Run & Walk Nonprofit Event hosted by military veterans! Lace up your shoes and join us at Mitch Park (Multi-Activity Center) on April 18th, 2026 at 8:00 AM (Central Time) for a fun-filled morning of fitness and community support. Whether you're a seasoned runner or just looking to enjoy a leisurely walk, this event is perfect for all ages and fitness levels. Let's come together to show our appreciation for our military veterans and raise funds for a great cause. See you there!

Info: Participants will be welcomed by Knights in Armor leadership with a brief overview of the organization's mission and the impact of the Strength in Stride 5K. Event details, safety reminders, and a moment of appreciation for runner, teams, sponsors, and volunteers will follow before the race begins.

Info: Participants will follow a clearly marked 5K course with volunteers and water stations positioned along the route to ensure safety and support. Runners and walkers are encouraged to go at their own pace, making the event welcoming for competitive runners, casual walkers, families, and first-time participants alike.

Info: At the conclusions of the race, awards will be given to top finishers in designated categories and to the team that raised the most funds in support of the mission.

Info: Following the race, participants are invited to remain onsite for post-race community engagement, where they can walk through vendor booths, connect with local partners, and learn more about available resources.
