🎉 The 51st Annual Apple Butter Festival is returning to Berkeley Springs, WV on October 9, 10 & 11, 2026, and you’re invited to celebrate more than five decades of fall magic in the mountains! 🍎🍂
✨ Free to attend.
We can’t wait for that unmistakable sweet smell of apple butter simmering in the streets, music drifting through the state park, and the simple joy of discovering beautiful art, crafts, and handmade treasures around every corner. There's nothing quite like hearing the cheers from the hog calling contest (even if the hogs never show), or watching rubber ducks race toward glory in the duck race.
We’ll be admiring blue ribbon pies, clutching raffle tickets for a shot at the one-of-a-kind Apple Butter Quilt, and smiling as kids march proudly through town in the parade. And yes, the bearded folks will be back, faces fluffed and egos ready for the legendary Beard & Mustache Contest.
With over 200 vendors, live entertainment, and all your favorite classic contests, the Apple Butter Festival is more than an event. It’s a feeling. One filled with fun, flavor, laughter, and memories you’ll carry home with you.

Start the weekend with our Pre-Festival Party in the Beverage Garden! Enjoy local craft beer, West Virginia wines and spirits, and great entertainment. It’s the perfect chance for vendors, visitors, and locals to unwind before the big weekend begins. Grab dinner from a downtown favorite or a food vendor and sip something delicious under the stars.

Floats, bands, costumes, and community pride on full display. It’s a can’t-miss tradition.
🎶 SATURDAY NIGHT IN THE BEER GARDEN
New this year, the Beer Garden stays open late on Saturday with drinks, food, and live headlining entertainment (TBA!).
Spend your weekend enjoying live music on two stages, shopping one-of-a-kind vendors, relaxing with a drink, and tasting everything from fair favorites to gourmet treats.
