To celebrate 5 years since Student Minds launched the University Mental Health Charter Framework and to reflect on how far we have come, we would like to invite you to join us for an online webinar to learn more about the findings, insights, learning, and areas of development for the University Mental Health Charter.
Book your place now and save a space in your diary to join us on the 4th December.
What to expect on the day:
Join Student Minds to hear from an array of speakers to reflect on the impact of the University Mental Health Charter (UMHC), learnings from institutions who have gone through the award process, and our plans for the development and improvement of UMHC in the future.
We will hear from a range of speakers including:
- Co-author of the UMHC Framework who will present changes to the Framework and reflect on research from the past 5 years.
- Dr Alan Farrier, Research Fellow at the University of Central Lancashire, who had led a 3 year evaluation on the impact of the UMHC to present the research findings.
- Senior Charter Assessors Dr Amy Zile and Dr Michael Priestley, working closely with Dr Gareth Hughes, have undertaken research into the UMHC Award Outcomes reports and will share their findings of key themes, learnings, and areas for future improvement.
- Student Minds’ Interim CEO will share the ongoing work to improve and develop the work of the UMHC in response to the findings.
- Gerry Rice, Dean for Students at UWE Bristol, who will reflect on the experience of embedding the framework at UWE. UWE have an UMHC Award with Merit.
Towards the end of the event we will host a Q&A session for attendees to find out more from the speakers.
