Join Esther for a rejuvenating 5-week Yin-Yang Yoga course designed to help balance energy, flexibility, strength and calm.
Yin Yang Yoga blends two complementary styles of practice. The Yang element brings gentle movement, strength, flow and vitality, while the Yin element invites stillness, longer-held postures, deep release and nervous system calm.
Yin and Yang are the Taoist concepts which describe the two relative qualities present in everything. Yin is more internal, passive, cooling and downward. Yang is more external, dynamic, warming and upward.
When these terms are applied in yoga, Yin Yoga is a slower practice It targets the deep, dense (Yin) connective tissues and joints in the body. Yang Yoga, in contrast, focuses on the muscles and blood flow, building strength, stamina, and flexibility. Yang styles of yoga are those with rhythm and repetition, like vinyasa flow.
Together, this creates a balanced class that will leave you feeling stretched, grounded, rejuvenated and more connected to your body.
This course may support:

🌿 Strength, tone & circulation
🌿 Stress relief and relaxation
🌿 A calmer, more balanced mind
🌿 Deep release through the connective tissues
🌿 A greater sense of ease in body & breathe
👉 All levels are welcome. Please wear comfortable clothing you can easily move in but does not obscure your body, and for optimal comfort refrain from eating 90 minutes before class.
