🌀 5-Week Pottery Wheel Throwing Course

Always wanted to learn the pottery wheel properly?
Our 5-week Throwing Course is designed to take you beyond a one-off taster, giving you the time to practise, improve and build real confidence on the wheel. Whether you’re starting from scratch or looking to refine your technique, you’ll receive expert guidance from tutor Cáit in a relaxed, friendly studio.
Over five weekly sessions, you’ll develop your skills step by step, learning not only how to throw, but also how to trim, glaze and finish your own handmade pottery. With plenty of time to practise between demonstrations, you’ll be amazed at how much progress you can make over the course.
You’ll learn:
• How to centre clay and throw a range of forms on the pottery wheel
• Trimming techniques to refine your pots
• How glazing transforms your work
• What happens during firing and how to achieve the best results
• Tips and techniques to continue your pottery journey with confidence

• Five weekly 2-hour sessions
• Small group tuition with plenty of individual support
• All clay, tools and studio equipment provided
• Glazing and kiln firing of your finished work
• Collect your completed pottery a few weeks after the course ends
