Dancing with the heart’s vocabulary; our instinctive emotions.
On this workshop we will explore how are they all connected with each other: Rhythms, elements and emotions.
Learning through experience.
Moving through emotional constipation and mental confusion.
Breathing through it all.

Silvija Tomčik, was introduced 30 years ago to Gabrielle Roth’s teachings through her book Maps to Ecstasy. It was a powerful encounter, which motivated Silvija to begin searching for teachers of the 5Rhythms to begin her dancing path. Since then she has been organizing 5Rhythms workshops in Croatia bringing it for the first time to this part of the world. At the time she was working in the Center for Peace Studies and leading workshops on gender issues. She has finished Waves Teacher Training with Gabrielle in 2001., and in 2010. the Heartbeat Teacher Training. Silvija has been a part of the Teacher Training Staff with Jonathan Horan 2013-2020. Silvija just published her book WAVES: Voice and Vision, in collaboration with 20 artists. She teaches workshops using her imagination, great variety of music, her grounded way of dancing and her love for the freedom of being in the body to prompt people to discover their personal dance and healing movement.

Prerequisites: minimum 20 Waves 5Rhythms hours or one weekend 5Rhythms workshop
This workshop counts towards 5Rhythms Teacher Training as a 2,5 days of Waves and 2 days of Heartbeat.
Prices:
Early Bird price 315€ until 15th of February. Full price is 360€.

Silvija Tomčik, conoció hace 30 años las enseñanzas de Gabrielle Roth a través de su libro Maps to Ecstasy. Fue un encuentro poderoso, que motivó a Silvija a comenzar a buscar maestros de los 5Ritmos para comenzar su camino de danza.
Desde entonces, ha estado organizando talleres de los 5Ritmos en Croacia, trayéndolos por primera vez a esta parte del mundo. En ese momento, trabajaba en el Centro de Estudios para la Paz y dirigía talleres sobre cuestiones de género. Terminó la Formación de Profesores de Waves con Gabrielle en 2001 y, en 2010, la Formación de Profesores de Heartbeat. Silvija ha formado parte del personal de formación de profesores con Jonathan Horan de 2013 a 2020.
Silvija acaba de publicar su libro WAVES: Voice and Vision, en colaboración con 20 artistas. Imparte talleres utilizando su imaginación, su gran variedad de música, su forma de bailar arraigada y su amor por la libertad de estar en el cuerpo para incitar a las personas a descubrir su danza personal y su movimiento curativo.
Requisitos previos: Mínimo 20 horas de Nivel Waves 5Ritmos o 1 taller de fin de semana de 5Ritmos.Este taller cuenta para futuras formaciones de 5Ritmos como 2’5 días de Waves y 2 días de Heartbeat
