5-Day Scavenger Hunt: Exploring English Language Teaching through eLibraryUSA

Join us for a 5-day Scavenger Hunt at the American Center Library, where you’ll explore key topics in English Language Teaching using eLibraryUSA. Each day focuses on a different theme from understanding American culture through English to effective classroom strategies. Use your eLibraryUSA account to discover reading materials, then complete a short quiz to test your knowledge. (Note: You must have an active eLibraryUSA account to participate.)

🌟Rules to participate:

✔️You must have an active eLibraryUSA account. (Need help? Visit the American Center and our library staff can assist you with creating one on the spot.)
✔️Visit the American Center Library from Monday to Friday, April 6–10 to participate.
✔️Log in to your personal eLibraryUSA account, and search for specific reading materials about on English Language Teaching topics.
✔️Find the correct information to answer five multiple-choice questions per day.
✔️Access our Quiz page (Google Form) to submit your answers (You must use your eLibraryUSA email account to sign in when accessing the Quiz page).
✔️Each participant has one chance to answer per day.
✔️You don’t have to participate every day, but the more days you join, the more points you earn, and the better your chances to win!
🚨Helpful hints will be provided to guide your search. All multiple-choice questions will be in English.

Each day topics include:

• Day 1: American Culture through English
• Day 2: Step-by-Step English Writing
• Day 3: Six Principles for Teaching English Learners
• Day 4: Cooperative Learning in the Classroom
• Day 5: Social-Emotional Learning in English Class

One top scorer across all five days will receive a Certificate of Participation and a special gift set!
