Join the Beaufort Historic Site at the Welcome Center on Tuesday, April 7, from 7 AM to 3 PM for a Madras Planter Workshop, part of the Living History Series. This lovely Nantucket Basket is woven over a beautifulbowl. It has a 2” maple base and is woven with Hamburg cane. The rim is navy blue dyed 3/8” flat oval reed. The basket is lashed with waxed linen.
