Get ready to don your flags and patriotic attire – for the 4th of July parade and festivities!Nevada City and Grass Valley trade off on hosting the annual 4th of July Parade, with even number years in Nevada City and odd numbered years Grass Valley. The 4th of July Parade will take place in Nevada City this year.
The festivities begin at 10am with a street fair on North Pine featuring food and craft vendors, plus a performance by the Nevada County Concert Band on Broad Street!
The parade will run down Broad Street in downtown Nevada City on Saturday July 4th starting at 11am.
A free fireworks show will begin at 9:30 p.m. at the interchange of Dorsey Drive and can be viewed from various locations around Grass Valley. Find a lot to park in and enjoy the free show! The Grass Valley Downtown Association will also be hosting a Family Pancake Breakfast from 8-10am and a Mill Street 4th of July Celebration 5-9pm.
