Grouse Ridge Lookout - Sunset and Milky Way
About this Event
Grouse Ridge Lookout is a retired Forest Service fire lookout station. The facility includes the fire lookout building and an iconic outhouse at the edge of the granite summit. This site provides incredible 360-degree views with vistas of 100+ miles in all directions.
We'll plan the trip to arrive before sunset so we can scout the property, take sunset photos, and capture images of the Milky Way and the buildings throughout the evening.
We will park 500 ft below the summit and hike with our gear, the last 1/4 mile of single track road up to the summit. Please pack accordingly.
