4th Annual Clothing Swap

It’s that time for Trans Lawrence Coalition’s 4th annual Clothing Swap! When you first come out or at the beginning of your transition, it can mean an expensive and confusing wardrobe search. That’s where we can help each other out as a community and why we’re asking for donations from everyone, trans folks and cis allies alike.
The Clothing Swap will be happening at the Community Building basement on 115 11th st from 1 PM to 5 PM. We’ll be taking donations at any Trans Lawrence Coalition event leading up to the event and at the Clothing Swap from 1 PM to 3 PM. These donations will be available to everyone for FREE.
This year we will also have volunteers who are available to do basic hemming on clothing that you find at the Swap. We’ll also have our stamps available for printing on clothes for a small donation to our mutual aid fund.
What to donate:
- Clean clothes in good condition
- Accessories
- Jewelry
- Shoes
- Sealed and unopened makeup
Donations we’re looking for:
- Tall and body diverse sizing
- Shoes (especially in large sizes)
- Bras and binders
If you have questions about any item, please reach out to ask.
Any donations left at the end of the swap will be given to local aid organizations or sold to thrift stores to cover operating expenses
