The rivalry is BACK—and this year, we're ready to fill the trucks!
For the 4th Annual Arvada vs. Westminster Fire Turkey Gaggle, Arvada Fire and Westminster Fire are going head-to-head in a friendly community competition to see which department can collect the most frozen turkeys for families this Thanksgiving!
🦃 WHAT'S A TURKEY GAGGLE?
It's simple:
Pick your department. Bring a frozen turkey. Help feed a family.
On November 14th, firefighters from Arvada and Westminster will be ready to collect frozen turkeys from their communities—and every turkey counts toward their department's total!

🚒 TEAM WESTMINSTER FIRE
At the end of the Gaggle, we'll tally them up and crown the 2026 Turkey Gaggle Champion!
Bragging rights are definitely on the line.
But something much bigger is at stake.
❤️ EVERY TURKEY BECOMES PART OF THANKSGIVING
The frozen turkeys collected during the Gaggle will support Excalibur Outreach's Operation Firebird, helping provide complete Thanksgiving meals to families throughout our communities.
Our statewide goal for Operation Firebird this year is:
🦃 2,500 THANKSGIVING MEALS!
And the Arvada vs. Westminster Fire Turkey Gaggle is one of the biggest days of the entire campaign.
🌶️ PLUS — THE BLAZIN' CHALLENGE STATE FINALS!
Things are going to get HOT at this year's Gaggle.
The BLAZIN' Wing Eating Challenge State Finals will take place during the event!
After qualifying competitions at participating Buffalo Wild Wings locations around Colorado, the top contestants will come together for one final showdown to crown our 2026 BLAZIN' Champion.
🚒 HOW DO YOU JOIN THE GAGGLE?
It's easy:
1️⃣ Pick a side.
Arvada Fire or Westminster Fire.
2️⃣ Grab a frozen turkey.
3️⃣ Bring it to the Gaggle on November 14th.
4️⃣ Drop it off with your department and add it to their total.
Bring one turkey. Bring five. Fill the back of your SUV. Challenge your family, neighborhood, school, church, club, or workplace to see how many you can collect.
Every frozen turkey helps provide Thanksgiving for another family.

For four years, the Turkey Gaggle has turned a friendly rivalry between Arvada and Westminster firefighters into something that brings our communities together.
This isn't just about who collects the most turkeys.
It's about firefighters, businesses, schools, sponsors, volunteers, families, and neighbors coming together to make Thanksgiving a little brighter for thousands of Colorado families.
