40th reunion

Classmates, John Tookman asked me to post the following on his behalf.
Hello 1986 Classmates,
I’m happy to share that we’ve scheduled our 40 year reunion on Saturday, October 3 - which is homecoming weekend. We’ve tried different formats for reunions in the past, and they all have their pros and cons. For this reunion, we were looking for a venue that could accommodate our group in a private room with convenient parking - at no required cost to classmates.
We’ve selected Wagner’s. Yes it’s a bit dated, but so are we. On the upside walking through the doors takes you back towards the 80s. We have a private room, patio, cash bar, and a DJ. It will be from 7 PM to 11 PM.
The expense for this is $1950, and unfortunately we have no class funds to offset the cost. Any voluntary contributions would be appreciated. Chris has volunteered to collect contributions via Venmo, Cash App, or Zelle. If contributions exceed $1950 we will apply them towards an additional bartender and/or appetizers. Thank you Chris and Darci for your help pulling this together.
