The tournament, which began in 1984, has evolved into a prestigious showcase for emerging athletic talent, featuring both Varsity and Junior Varsity divisions for boys and girls teams from across the Lowcountry. Over four decades, the Soccer Classic has grown from a local competition into a celebrated regional tradition along the East Coast."Reaching our 40th anniversary is a testament to the enduring impact of this tournament on our community," said David Kent, President of the Mount Pleasant Rotary Club.
