Celebrating 4 years of Dancing Free in Community!A special celebratory dance through an uplifting music journey with a blend of funky disco, deep and afro-house, folktronika, melodic techno, tribal beats and drum & bass.
Moving freely in nature at sunset energising our body and soul. Connecting to the rhythms, each other and nature through movement and dance.
We'll walk together (7 minutes) to the magical dance spot on the South Common.
Starting with a welcoming and a few guidelines on dancing free in the body. There's then a facilitated guided movement mediation over gentle music for 5-10 minutes which helps us drop into body, followed by approx. 1hr of uplifting and soulful music journey for free movement.
Simply move as much or little as you like, however you feel. 😊
This immersive music experience is led through wireless headsets providing crystal clear sound.
It’s a very warm, fun and welcoming space to let go and be free to dance like no-one is watching!
The costs of this Dance Free event are covered solely on your donations. Thank you kindly for your support. Please book ONE ticket per headset.
Dance Free events are for everyone - and also Carer Friendly - which means we offer free ticket for carers. For a free carer ticket, please email [email protected].
Meeting place: At the common gate on South Park Road near Eastholme Care home - no. 74-75, LN5 8ES.
Travel: Please car share, use public transport, walk or cycle where possible.
Parking: Free off-street parking on South Park.
What to bring: Wear comfy clothes in layers and bring water.
This event time includes walking to and from the dancing location on South Common.
