This course welcomes everyone from complete beginners to intermediate students who want to expand their skills and explore new clay techniques and creations. Over four weekly sessions, classes will be divided between handbuilding and pottery wheel work. Students will learn handbuilding methods such as pinch, coil, and slab construction, then spend the remaining time on the wheel. The final session will be dedicated to glazing finished pieces. For those who prefer, the course can be tailored to place greater emphasis on wheel throwing.
