Wag & Walk Fundraiser 2026

A Community Celebration for Dogs, Families & Local Changemakers

Bring your friendly, leashed pups and join us for a joyful fundraising walk at Creekside Park in Aurora, Colorado—all to support K9 Kate’s mission of helping dogs stay in their homes and strengthening the bond between dogs and their people.

⏰ Walk begins at 10:00 AM (check‑in at 9:30 AM)
📍 Creekside Park – meet at the playground/pavilion
🐾 Distance: One lap around the park (~0.3 mile)

After the walk, gather at the pavilion for snacks, drinks, fun activities, music, and a chance to meet our amazing sponsors, vendors, youth entrepreneurs, and self‑advocates.

ACCESSIBILITY INFORMATION
Creekside Park offers several accessible features to help everyone enjoy the event comfortably.

• The walking path is fully paved concrete.
• An ADA‑accessible playground is available near the pavilion.
• Restrooms are available on site.

We want all participants—two‑legged and four‑legged—to feel welcome and supported.

RESCUE GUESTS & ADOPTABLE DOGS
We’re excited to welcome 1–2 local rescue organizations who will be joining us with adoptable dogs. Stop by their booths after the walk to meet some amazing pups looking for loving homes and learn more about their work in our community.

WALKERS, PARTICIPANTS & DOGS

Your pup’s ticket is your entry—all humans attend for free!
Enjoy early‑bird pricing through 4/30/26.
Additional pups get a discount too!

This event is for everyone: families, dog lovers, community supporters, and anyone who wants to make a difference.

Youth entrepreneurs and self‑advocates are not restricted by category.

VENDORS

Showcase your business to local families and dog lovers in a fun, community‑driven environment.

Vendor spaces are limited to one business per profession to give each vendor strong visibility.
Please reach out to me ([email protected]) before paying your vendor fee so I can confirm your category is still open.
Youth entrepreneurs and self‑advocates are excluded from this limit.

YOUTH ENTREPRENEURS & SELF-ADVOCATES

We are proud to feature youth entrepreneurs (18 and under) and self‑advocates at this event.
This is a wonderful opportunity to share your creations, services, or ideas with a supportive community.

What is a self‑advocate?
A self‑advocate is a young person who speaks up for their own needs, choices, and goals—using their lived experience to guide their decisions and share their voice.

Youth participants are not limited by professional category, and we welcome 2–3 of these special guests. Please contact me ([email protected]) prior to applying.
