3rd Annual Live Script Readings

Calling All Writers, Filmmakers, and Actors!
The Arts Accelerator presents Live Script Readings, where actors get on stage and cold read screenplays in development from veteran and emerging writers. Agents often attend to discover talent, and guests often include well-known actors and writers. Actors of all experience levels can purchase a ticket and have a chance to be cast on the spot to perform, network with the other creatives in the biz, experience new works in progress and showcase their talent.
Special Guests
Thanks to the Miami Film Festival, some readers will include surprise guest actors starring in Miami Film Festival films, some of whom you may know!
You’ll Be In Good Company!
Guests often include talent agents looking to discover new talent and industry veterans workshopping new works in progress. This is another chance to showcase your skills and network with the best in the business.
ACTORS
Attend for a chance to be cast on the spot and read new work in front of a live audience!
For a chance to be cast, purchase a ticket. You will receive a confirmation email with a link to submit a reel to your work for consideration. If you don't have an acting reel, you will still be considered for a role, submit what you have. Casting will be based on character descriptions from the selected scripts. ALL roles will be cast on April 14th. If you want a chance to be cast, you must arrive by 7:30 PM on April 8th.
