About Global Motherhood Leadership Summit

The Global Motherhood Leadership Summit (GMLS) is a one-of-a-kind gathering for mothers who lead at home, in their careers, in their communities, or in their calling.

Founded by Dr. Yanli He, Ph.D., in Organizational Leadership, GMLS is dedicated to empowering mothers through leadership principles applied to motherhood. Dr. He integrates 16 leadership traits into the context of motherhood, highlighting the unique traits and perspectives that mothers bring to their families, workplaces, and communities. At the same time, leadership behaviors and skills cultivated in professional settings equip mothers to resolve family conflicts, nurture healthy relationships, and lead with wisdom at home.

• GMLS 2024 Miami

The first-ever GMLS was successfully held from September 28–30, 2024, at the Hyatt Regency in Miami, Florida. Joined by Miss Worldwide 2024, Tetyana Didenko, GMLS 2024 explored the four dimensions of organizational leadership within motherhood, fostering passion, unity, collaboration, innovation, and friendship among attendees. The success of the 2024 summit laid a strong foundation for future gatherings, inspiring us to host GMLS annually to continue empowering mothers.

GMLS 2025 was successfully held on Mother’s Day, May 11, 2025, at Harvard University in Boston, Massachusetts. The event featured an impressive lineup of distinguished keynote speakers who shared powerful and deeply personal stories, inspiring and moving the audience. The heartfelt messages of the speakers resonated deeply with the spirit of the summit, creating warm, powerful, and unforgettable moments.

Participants engaged in meaningful conversations, learned from one another’s experiences, and gained confidence in translating motherhood into effective leadership.
