3rd Annual Comeback Cabaret: a high school student & alumni showcase

Doors open at 5:30 pm, the show starts at 6:00 pm, and the show ends by 8:00 pm for this theatre program fundraiser presented by Luke "Skippy" Harbur. Light appetizers, a cash bar with soft drinks, beer and wine, and a silent auction will be available.

Get ready for the third annual "Comeback Cabaret," a one night show showcasing high school theatre students and program alumni side by side! Over the course of a month, six students are mentored by select program alumni, refining select musical theater repertoire for this one-of-a-kind experience. All program alumni volunteered their time and talents to make the event a success, and 100% of ticket sales benefit the high school's theatre programming.

Tell me about the current students featured.

High school students in the cabaret received superior ratings or higher at the Kansas State Thespian Conference for their musical theater work, qualifying them to compete at the national level for their artistry. Tell me about the alumni featured.

Alumni in the cabaret were frequently involved in the high school program where the current students come from. They've received performance awards and accolades on community, state, and national levels. Most alumni featured are heavily involved in and outside of Kansas City's performance community.
