🎉 This is a free community event. No ticket is required to attend. Everyone is welcome. If you RSVP through Eventbrite, you'll receive a free limited-edition BEWM sticker and trading card at check-in while supplies last.

Three years ago, we lost Nate "BEWM." He was 18 years old. He loved street art with his whole heart. More than that, he loved the people, the community, and the connection that came with it.

In the aftermath, we set out to honor his life in a way that reflected who he was: through art, creativity, community, and connection. Today, that vision has grown into Something Good Initiative, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to creating opportunities for young creatives across Austin.

BEWM FOR THE PEOPLE is our one annual fundraising event. It's the one night each year we gather our community to celebrate, share the impact of our work, and raise the funds that make our programs possible. The rest of the year, we're focused on doing the work: supporting artists, building community, and creating opportunities for the next generation of creatives.

Expect an evening of food, drinks, live art, and the incredible artists our programs support, all in celebration of BEWM, whose creativity, generosity, and love for people continue to inspire everything we do. More than a birthday celebration, it's a celebration of community and a reminder that no one has to walk through life's challenges alone.

We believe in a simple truth:

Talent is everywhere. Opportunity is not.

Our mission is to remove barriers that prevent artists from reaching their potential through mentorship, creative spaces, education, and community. Because of supporters like you, that mission comes to life every week through:

• Sketchy Thursdays, our free weekly community art meetup led by Austin street artist Warclass.
• Our Artist Residency, providing emerging artists with studio space and personalized mentorship.
• Community Workshops, offering affordable education taught by working artists and creative professionals.
• The East Austin Alleyway Project, transforming neglected public spaces into vibrant places for art, connection, and community.

We would be honored to have you celebrate with us on August 28 and help us continue creating opportunities for artists who simply need someone to believe in them.

This party is for everyone. No RSVP is required to attend. If you're able to give, your support fuels everything you just read about. If you're not, come anyway. Bring a friend. Be part of the room. That's the whole point.
