Join us on Saturday, August 8th for our 3rd Annual Backpack Bonanza, our back-to-school initiative dedicated to supporting local students and families in our community as they prepare for the new school year.
The event will be held at our West View office, and food will be donated by Center Avenue Slice! As well as Monte Cello's. Philly Pretzel Company, Betsy Ann Chocolates, and Seorgel Orchards!
Pre-registration is encouraged to guarantee a backpack filled with school supplies. While walk-ins are welcome, backpacks will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis as supplies last. We are collecting school supply donations through August 7th at our West View and McCandless offices. Community members can also drop off donations at any of our local collection partners:
* Ridgewood Church
* Dollar General (Perry Highway & Three-Degree Road locations)
* West View Brew
* Laurel Gardens Tire Service
* Game Masters Dragon Roast Cafe
* Ross/West View EMS
