Join us for a new 3EALITY Sessions on December 9th, 2024. The 3EALITY Sessions is an event series featuring innovators and creatives sharing their transformative ideas with the community of 3EALITY.

The 2024 debut of Apple Vision Pro and Meta's Orion has reignited excitement around a future where Augmented Reality (AR) smart glasses are a mainstream technology. But what steps will bring us closer to that reality, and how can a small start-up in Veldhoven play a pivotal role in shaping it? In his talk, our speaker Jan Matthijs ter Meulen (co-founder and CTO Morphotonics) will delve deeper into the advancements and challenges in AR Smart Glass Optics Manufacturing.

About the speaker

Jan Matthijs ter Meulen’s background is in optics, with a master’s degree in Physics and Business Administration. At Philips, he contributed to writing the specifications for Blu-ray Disc technology and played a key role in starting up Blu-ray Disc production.
