VEHICLE/PASSENGER comes to POM to celebrate their newest vinyl release: "Live In Amsterdam". Already praised as "one of the most honest and unique recordings of 2024." (All About Jazz/Onemansjazz); The live LP is a live-in-front-of-audience capture of a young group whose sound is as urgent, spiritual and honest as their message. Radical in both their introspection and their unapologetic clarity.

VEHICLE/PASSENGER is the intercontinental “All-Star” trio of Marc Alberto (NL/CW) on poetry, saxophones and electronics; Lesley Mok (US) on drums and percussion; and Florian Herzog (DE/US) on double bass and electronics. In VEHICLE/PASSENGER we gather around thoughtful, radical poetry, as it weaves through energetically improvised pieces and delicate soundscapes. Exploring a queer perspective on body, society and improvisation.

The trio reveals a unified, futuristic sound, repositioning the past, present and future of experimental music, free jazz, hip-hop, live electronics and {spoken-word} [poetry].
