35th Anniversary Celebration of Ukrainian Independence
About this Event
Come join us at the Holy Trinity Ukrainian Catholic Church on August 30th as we celebrate 35 years of Ukrainian independence and democracy. We will have performances by the Ukrainian Children’s Ensemble “Sribni Dzvinochky” (Silver Bells) and the Adult Ensemble “Sribni Dzherela” (Silver Springs). Learn more about Ukrainian culture and history through tours of our wooden church, built without a single nail in line with traditional Ukrainian church architecture. Enjoy Ukrainian food and play Kozak sport games. Fun for all ages!

Opening Ceremony
Info: Prayer led by rev. Dumenko, followed by a Flag Ceremony, singing of the Ukrainian and American national anthems, and a Moment of Silence for all the civilians murdered by the russian invasion and the soldiers who have given their lives in defence of Ukrainian independence and democracy.
