Our 6th Annual 35mm Film Festival returns on April 17th-19th! We are thrilled to welcome Turner Classic Movies host Alicia Malone as this yearโs honoree of the Lou DiCrescenzo Cinematic Arts Award. She will join us in person as we showcase nine classic films from the archival vaults of national institutions like the Library of Congress, the UCLA Film & Television Archive, the George Eastman Museum, and more. George Bancroft is โBullโ W**d, an unforgiving kingpin who rules the crime world in Prohibition-era Chicago. When a rival makes the moves on his girl, โBullโ W**d goes to violent lengths to get revenge. Visually stunning with dazzling montages, experimental POV shots, and innovative chiaroscuro lighting, it is no surprise von Sternberg got his start as a projectionist!
