Join the Virginia Tech Alumni Philadelphia Chapter to cross the Ben Franklin Bridge for the 3.2 for 32 Run for Remembrance. The event takes place on Sunday, April 19th. Walkers, runners, well-behaved dogs, and children are welcome. Wear your VT gear.Meet at the base of the bridge on the Philadelphia side (east bound) at 10:30AM. We will begin promptly at 10:40AM. Participants are welcome to run the full length of the bridge or to the mid-point and back. The span is about 1.5 miles in each direction. As you finish the bridge, head to Fringe Bar for a meet up. Fringe Bar is located about .5 miles from the base of the bridge and is accessible by walking. Street and lot parking options are available nearby.
Located at 140 N Christopher Columbus Blvd., Philadelphia, PA 19106, food and drink at Fringe Bar are pay your own way. You are welcome to make your own reservation with the restaurant if you’d like a table for your party. There are ample outdoor tables and a large space indoors.
