About this Event
Join us for a tour of the Syd Carpenter exhibition, Planting in Place, Time and Memory, at the Woodmere Art Museum. Carpenter is a contemporary clay artist who explores the intersection of African American history, land and agriculture, and the human body.

After the Syd Carperter tour, we will walk over to Maguire Hall, which is the newly expanded part of the Woodmere. Space is limited to just 15 people so don't wait to register for this event.
A free parking lot is available for visitors. Accessible parking is available near the Widener Studio building, located to the right of the museum.
The Woodmere is conveniently located a few blocks from the Chestnut Hill East and West train stations and is accessible by SEPTA bus #23.
Participants will receive 2 hours of Act 48 credit.
