3 Day - Nikon Ambassador Photo Boot Camp

Are you comfortable with your camera but want to take things to the next level?

We are excited to host this exclusive 3-Day event with three amazing Nikon Ambassadors.

Kristi Odom, D’Ann Boal and Mike Mezeul II in an intensive weekend workshop. Kristi, D’Ann and Mike will share some of their favorite tips and tricks for making digital images better.

This is a unique opportunity for advanced camera users to gather insight and information on a wide variety of camera functions. Students will hear from 3 professional photographers over 3 days with tips on camera settings, lens selection, lighting, composition and more. Customers need to be comfortable with their camera systems and have working knowledge of Shutter speeds, Apertures and metering. This class is not limited to Nikon Camera owners. Anyone with an interchangeable lens camera and an understanding of their camera system will benefit from this workshop. Students will also have an opportunity to have one image critiqued by the panel of photographers and be given an assignment to complete during the class.

4:00pm – 5:00pm Mike Mezeul II An Introduction to Timelapsing.

Sunday May 4th:

11:15am – 11:45am Time Lapse assignment review with Kristi Odom and D’Ann Boal.

11:45am – 12:45pm D’Ann Boal Light is Light: Using Strobes for Natural Light Effects.

12:45pm – 1:45pm Kristi Odom The Wonderful World of Macro.

Nikon Ambassador Kristi Odom:

Conservation photographer and Filmmaker, Kristi Odom, has worked in some of the earth's most remote locations to help document stories that will help protect our planet's biodiversity. She is an internationally awarded photographer, an associate fellow of the International League of Conservation Photographers, a Nikon Ambassador and a motivational speaker.

Nikon Ambassador D'Ann Boal:

Graduated with a master’s degree in education, but it wasn’t until her son was born and she moved to the Caribbean that she picked up a camera and never looked back. Her photography career has come full circle, and when she's not out photographing clients, she is leading photography workshops or teaching photography classes.

Nikon Ambassador Mike Mezeull II:

A self-proclaimed nerd for everything nature, Mike’s life journey has been dedicated to capturing the beauty of the world's most powerful and breathtaking landscapes.

Mike is most well-known for epic imagery that brazenly conveys the raw and unrelenting power of nature and the Earth, from volcanoes to tornadoes, wildlife, night sky and everything in between.
