3-Day Kickstart: Melton Mowbray Discipleship & Activation

Come and experience practical teaching, street outreach, and healing through your own hands. Be a doer, not just a hearer!
About this Event

You will be trained and activated (kick-started) to step out in faith—healing the sick, preaching the Gospel, baptising in water and in the Holy Spirit, and making disciples. Through solid Bible teaching and practical outreach, we will go out in small groups to help “kickstart” you into living this out.

In the Book of Acts, we see God using ordinary people to do extraordinary things. The church grew rapidly as believers were filled with the Holy Spirit, and the disciples preached the Gospel, healed the sick, delivered people, and baptised in water and in the Holy Spirit.

The apostle Paul emphasized the importance of ministering in the power of the Spirit:

• “My message and my preaching were not with wise and persuasive words, but with a demonstration of the Spirit’s power, so that your faith might not rest on human wisdom, but on God’s power.”
  (1 Corinthians 2:4–5, NIV)

This was the “normal Christian life” for the disciples of Jesus Christ. Is this kind of life still for today? Are we, as disciples of Jesus, still called to do these same “Acts”?

Yes! We believe this is still for today and for every believer who desires to be a disciple of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Program

A 3-day hands-on discipleship training event. The teaching will be highly practical and will include going out on the streets, praying for the sick, and preaching the Gospel.

18:30–21:00 — Testimonies, Teaching & Prayer

Sunday 12th

10:00–12:30 — Teaching
13:00–14:00 — Baptisms

Further Details

• The Kickstart is a free event.
• Meals are not included. Please bring your own food or plan to purchase meals from nearby restaurants.
• Participants are responsible for arranging their own accommodation.
• Children are welcome but must remain under parental supervision and not disrupt the Kickstart sessions. No crèche facilities are available.
• Torben Søndergaard will not be attending this event.
