Resin Wall Clock Workshop: Create, Pour & Design Your Own Timepiece
About this Event
Step into a calm, creative space and design your very own resin wall clock from start to finish.
In this hands-on workshop, you’ll be guided through the process of working with resin, exploring both epoxy and pre-prepared UV resin techniques. You’ll learn how resin behaves, how to work with its natural flow and “memory”, and how to safely and confidently create your own finished artwork.
This session is designed to be both creative and mindful—an opportunity to slow down, switch off from daily pressures, and make something truly personal.
There are no strict rules or limits on creativity. You’ll be encouraged to explore colour, texture, and design freely, resulting in a one-of-a-kind wall clock ready to take home and display.
What You’ll Create
- A fully finished resin wall clock
- Designed and assembled by you
- Ready to hang on your wall at home
All materials, tools, and clock components will be provided.
What to Expect
- Introduction to resin: origins, uses, and types (epoxy & UV resin)
- Step-by-step guidance through the full creation process
- Understanding resin behaviour, flow, and layering techniques
- Safe handling and creative experimentation
- Time to design, pour, and assemble your own clock
- A relaxed, supportive, creative environment
No experience is needed—this workshop is suitable for beginners and creative explorers alike.
Good to know:
- Wear clothes you don’t mind getting creative in
- Resin requires curing time, so some finishing may be completed during the session or shortly after
- Suitable for beginners and experienced creatives alike
Why Try Resin Art?
Resin art is a unique blend of science and creativity. It allows for fluid expression, bold colour combinations, and unpredictable beauty that makes every piece completely individual.
Working with resin can also be deeply calming and absorbing—many people find it helps them switch off, focus, and reconnect with creativity

About the Artist – Gina
Gina has been working with resin for over 10 years and has been teaching it for the past four. By day she works as a site manager, and in her evenings and weekends she is a passionate crafter.
Resin is her creative outlet and stress relief—her personal canvas for experimentation and expression.
She also helps run a weekly craft club every Wednesday and is excited to be part of Kick Up the Arts, sharing her skills in resin-based art and craft with new audiences.
Gina loves that no two creations are ever the same. She lives with her husband of 18 years and their fur children, and they enjoy travelling in their campervan with craft projects always in tow
