The 2nd Annual Rotary Kids Triathlon, proudly presented by the Rotary Club of Vero Beach, will be held at the Victor Hart Sr. Community Enhancement Complex in Vero Beach. This race will allow children between the ages of 6 – 13 to participate in a Swim, Bike, and Run multisport youth event that is geared for both 1st Time Triathletes and the seasoned competitive Triathlete.
For ALL Children between the Ages of 6-13. Mandatory Bike Check-In is on Friday, December 6, 2024
Junior Division (Individual Athletes or Mixed Relay Teams) for Children Born in 2015 – 2018
Senior Division (Individual Athletes or Mixed Relay Teams) for Children Born in 2011 – 2014
Adaptive Individual Athletes for Children Born in 2011 – 2018
1. Swim / Wade – 75 yards = 3 lengths (Junior) / 150 yards = 6 lengths (Senior)
[Note: Novice or Non-Swimmers can either walk in the Heated Pool, or enter a Relay Team and have a friend or relative complete the swim portion]
2. Bike / Ride – 1.0 mile (Junior) / 2.0 miles (Senior)
[Note: All Athletes must have a Bike and Helmet to Participate] – If your child does not have this equipment and you have done your best to borrow these, then we might be able to help you! (supplies are limited). See detailed instructions under the Swim-Bike-Run Course tab (within the drop-down menu of the Event Info tab).
3. Run / Walk – 0.5 mile (Junior) / 1.0 mile (Senior)
The Rotary Club of Vero Beach is subsidizing children whose parents/guardians do not have the means to afford the entry fee. Please consider donating one or more entry fees to help these children.
