QCDP Happy Hour- 13K Event Venue at Kenwood Theatre
The 2nd Queen City Derby Party (QCDP) is a fundraising day-party centered on the running of the Kentucky Derby. As Cincinnati’s premier Kentucky Derby watch event, QCDP is a unique spectacle that brings together a diverse mix of patrons who wish to enjoy a festive and vibrant take on the traditions of the race. This annual fundraiser is the signature event of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., Delta Gamma Lambda chapter in collaboration with the Delta Gamma Lambda Youth & Education Foundation, a Cincinnati based 501c3. All proceeds go to the foundation in support of its mission.

Get ready to kick off the Kentucky Derby weekend in style at 13K Event Venue! Join us
for a five-hour Happy Hour celebration the night before the big race, with great drinks,
light bites, plenty of Derby-themed fun, and a live DJ.

General Admission: Only 200 tickets will be available for purchase for this event.

ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
Must be at least 21 years old on May 1, 2026, to attend. Please do not purchase a ticket
if you will not meet this criterion because your money will not be refunded.
Is there a dress code?
A button-down and nice slacks, a color dress with a blazer, or a versatile piece that can
be transition from day to night. You might be on your feet for a while, so choose
comfortable footwear. Of course, you'll want to accessorize accordingly. Google is a
great resource for ideas!
No jeans, tennis shoes, boots, or streetwear. We reserve the right to enforce this policy
up to expulsion from the happy hour, in which case no refunds will be provided.
What are my parking options for getting to and from the event?
13K Event Venue at Kenwood Theater has free parking available for all patrons either in
the parking lot or the adjacent parking garage.

Will there be seating?
There will limited seating at the bar area, patio area, and in the lounge area on a first
come, first served basis.
Is there an open bar?
No. There will be a cash bar available from 5:00pm to 10:00pm of beer, wine, liquor and
non alcoholic beverages for your enjoyment.
Will there be food?
Yes. Limited light bites will be available from a short period of time **this is not a
banquet or dinner event**.
