Please join us for the 2nd Annual Patriots for Vets Fundraiser at The Regal Beagle from 3-10pm with proceeds benefitting The Final Salute Veterans Organization right here in Iowa! Timeline of Events:
-3-6 pm- Chili Drop Off
-7-10 pm- Live Music by Joe Demerath
-8:30 pm- Chili Winner Announced
We will have a Chili Cook-Off competition, so bring your best homemade chili to the contest! We will be accepting “good will donations” to try multiple chilis, and the proceeds will go to The Final Salute.
The Final Salute is a Local Iowa organization that works to give proper burial rights to the unclaimed remains of America’s veterans.
“Working together as a community to ensure that no one goes unclaimed. The ultimate goal is to reunite each unclaimed urn with family - if that is not an option the second is to secure a final resting place.” -The Final Salute
Joe Demerath will be providing live music from 7-10pm. He is an engaging and energetic acoustic musician from right here in Waukee. Joe performs fun covers of your favorite hits and singalongs from numerous genres, and he takes song requests all night!
Joe is also an Army Combat Veteran himself, and an avid supporter of lowa Veterans & Vet Organizations.
