Cometh the hour cometh the man. Our first event of 2025 is a special treat to coincide with Mark's birthday. Casting your mind back to what is now referred to as "The Day" you will remember the Cellars beach parties, the hedonism, the dancing, laughing. You'll recall a simpler time. We invited a man to play that captivated and enthralled in equal measure. That man, is Peter Parker (or Dan to his mum). To coincide with Fingathing's new album, "G", dropping we have invited (forced?) the great man back to the shire once again to drop multi genre party bombs for us.
Supporting for the evening are your mum's two favourite's Mark "Pinderslapmyass" Beesley and Matthew Wezzlechopp the fourth. Described by some as 'arrogant tossers' Matt and Mark own lots of records, some of which they'll play for you. To complete the battalion of beats for the evening will be half man half bee DJ Buzzword, who you'll remember from when he had shorter hair. A great beatmaker and a greater lover. Until very recently the greatest entertainer to come out of Wellington was Peter Thornley, better known to his fans as Kendo Nagasaki. We haven't managed to get an 83 year old wrestler to come and entertain us but we do have Comic Marvel who is from Wellinton too.. but he only wears masks and lycra shorts at weekends.
